We have reached the 60% of investors threshold required for Master Funding Agreement implementation. The Master Funding Agreement was implemented effective July 16, 2008. Click here for details on the completed Master Funding Agreement approval process. We have sent investors a report on the election results. A copy of the generic report is available here.

If you are one of the over 300 investors who has returned a signed joinder agreement to us, we thank you. If you have not returned a joinder agreement yet, we will continue to collect joinder agreements for Option 1 after Option 1 implementation. However, the July 31, 2008, deadline for submitting an Option 2 self-financing election has passed.

If you purchased an interest in a life insurance policy from VESPERS, LLC (previously known as Viatical and Elderly Settlement Providers, LLC) and the documentation you received from VESPERS identifies the policy(ies) with one of the following Vespers-assigned Viator numbers, then your policy is subject to the Master Funding Agreement:

The policies that are identified in bold print have not matured and those identified in plain print have matured after the Master Funding Agreement took effect on July 16, 2008. The proceeds of any maturity which occurs under a policy subject to the Master Funding Agreement on or after July 16, 2008, will be distributed under the terms of the Master Funding Agreement.

A spreadsheet calculating the Funder’s payments since September 2007 through December 2009 reveals that the Funder Sinomatic Investment Holdings Ltd. has funded over $3.4 million dollars ( US ) in premiums that would have lapsed but for investor approval of the MFA.
